
Dr. Olga's Scholarships
There are three scholarships that we will be raising money for
Serbian Scholarship:
The Recipient of this scholarship must meet the following requirements:

Be an active member of the Serbian Orthodox community

Eastern Orthodox Religion (Christian)
-
Lives in Northeast Ohio (Cleveland, Akron, Canton, Lorain, Youngstown)
-
No family or godparents (kumovi) related to Dr. Olga Kovacevic and her family are eligible
-
GPA higher than a 2.5 based on a 4.0 scale
-
ACT score of 18 or above, or SAT score of 960 or above
-
Test not required for vocational school

High school transcript must be attached to the application

Recommendation letter from: teacher/counselor (could also be a priest, Sunday School teacher, folklore instructor, choir director, or sports coach) or any employer

Must be accepted to an undergrad college/university (2 of 4 years) or vocational school

Application must be filled out and submitted
Prospective Medical Student: Recipients of this scholarship must meet the following requirements:

Brecksville-Broadview Heights High School: Recipients of this scholarship must meet the following requirements:

Aspiring medical profession (pre-med, PT, OT, nursing, etc.)

No family or godparents (kumovi) related to Dr. Olga Kovacevic and her family are eligible

GPA 3.0 based on a 4.0 scale
-
ACT score minimum of 18 or above (test not required for vocational school)

SAT score minimum of 960 or above (test not required for vocational school)

Who picks the scholarship recipients for each scholarship?
A Board of Trustees which consists of three board members will thoroughly review the applications. All scholarships will be anonymously reviewed carefully and throughly with all board members.
